4.2.20 How You Can Help

I wanted to keep you updated on the efforts going on in our community to bring much-needed support to our neighbors and combat COVID-19. I’ve received many requests asking how you can help, and I wanted to pass along information about both local and national organizations you can support:

Your Way Home

If you’re self-isolating or in a high-risk group, donating funds, medical supplies or care packages is a great way to support our community. If you are otherwise healthy, in a low-risk group, and engaging in social distancing, you may also want to consider volunteering as your help is desperately needed.

I also continue to encourage you to visit www.coronavirus.gov to access helpful tips and ways to keep yourself and your loved ones safe during this outbreak, including

  • Washing your hands
  • Cleaning frequently touched objects and surfaces
  • Avoiding contact with those who are sick
  • Staying home if you are sick
